The following applies to a Johnno’s Allrounder Camper Trailer available from any of our four branches (Dalby, Goondiwindi, Tamworth, Toowoomba) and includes the following:
- Queen size foam mattress
- Ground sheet for under the tent base
- Gas bottle
- 2 burner gas stove
- Battery with socket for fridge, & Anderson Plug to charge from tow vehicle
- Annex with poles & pegs
Daily Rates
- Daily hire rate Flat rate regardless $85.00
Minimum hire period Rates
- Mid week Minimum 2 days $170.00
- Weekend Minimum 3 days $255.00
- Long weekend Minimum 4 days $340.00
- Easter Minimum 5 days $425.00
- Christmas / New Year Minimum 7 days $595.00
- School holidays NSW & QLD *Minimum 3 days $255.00
*Note: If Easter falls during or adjacent to school holidays; 5 days minimum hire applies to school holidays.
Deposit and Bond
- Deposit to secure booking $100.00
- Security bond $250.00
- (Security bond is refunded 3 days after camper is returned if all is OK)
- Cleaning from $80.00, max $250.00
- (Cleaning applies only if camper is returned unclean. Cleaning charge depends on how dirty it is. Charge is at our discretion following inspection)
Damage & Accidents
- If the camper is damaged, in an accident, written off, the hirer is responsible for the insurance excess of $1000.00. This must be explained clearly to the hirer before collecting the camper.

General notes
- A $100 deposit is payable at the time of booking. This is not refundable. It is deducted from the hire total when the Camper is collected & paid for.
- The $250 security bond is not refunded until 3 days after the camper is returned allowing sufficient time to inspect the camper for damage or for an unclean state.
- Any hire that spans any part of Easter, Christmas/New Year, or School Holidays is subject to the minimum hire period for that time.
- It is expected that the person hiring the camper returns it in a clean & tidy state. I.e. it needs to be returned in the same state that it was in when it was collected.
- If it is not clean & tidy Diesel Care will do the cleaning & deduct a fee of between $80 & $250 from the security bond depending on the state of the camper.
- It is the person hiring the camper’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle towing it is suitable for the task & that it has a sufficient tow rating. The empty weight of an Allrounder is 805kg, so with a full water tank & incidentals on board it would gross at 1000kg minimum.
- The camper has a 7 pin flat electrical plug.
- The tow ball needs to be 50mm. The flange that contacts the tounge also needs to be 50mm as the trailer hitch covers both the ball & the flange.
- Reasonable tyre wear is expected however greater than reasonable wear, or a destroyed tyre, will be deducted from the security bond.
- Damage of any kind will be deducted from the security bond.
- Only clean potable water should be added to the water tank.
