He started working with Diesel Care in Tamworth in 1984 and went on to purchase the business in 1995.
John says that he finds the diesel injection industry very challenging.
“We are always changing and always learning, especially with the rapid introduction of electronics and common rail technology.”
To stay abreast of the changing technology, John has completed numerous training courses including diesel injection training in Bosch, Denso, Stanadyne and Delphi and continues to value-add to his qualifications regularly.
He strongly believes Australia will see a huge increase the sale of diesel passenger cars in the future.
“The introduction of very high pressure common rail systems has allowed the engine manufacturers to produce engines which have high power output, quiet and great fuel economy. More and more, I believe we will see the appeal of diesel applied to the family car.”
In the little spare time he does get, John enjoys being outdoors with the family, hunting, fishing, camping, boating and skiing and he stills helps out on the farm when he can.
